Mass Effect II is a sequel to Mass Effect.
In this sequel, you have to play as Captain James “Shepard” Shepard, who is in his journey of saving the Galaxy from the Reapers, the most dangerous enemy in the entire universe.
The game starts after the defeat of the Galactic Empire by the hands of the Reapers, which leads to the death of the Emperor and many other important figures in the history of the galaxy. The remaining leaders of the galaxy, called the “Founders”, are now trying to protect the remaining human colonies by sending out fleets of ships to fight against the Reapers.
The game is divided into four main chapters. In each chapter, you have to complete a series of missions, which will test your abilities as a commander. These missions are divided into two parts: story missions and combat missions. The story missions will test your abilities as a commander and will give you an opportunity to explore and learn the history of the galaxy. The combat missions will test your abilities as a shooter, and you will have to fight against various enemies in order to survive.
